seized car auction — I need to find out where to find seized car auctions in SoCal?

Question by Mr. S: seized car auction — I need to find out where to find seized car auctions in SoCal?
Can anyone help me find seized car auctions down in the LA area? I’ve been looking into this topic anyway, and I think I found some places, but I’d like to get some recommendations. Most seized car auctions are just too far from where I live at the moment, but you all may be able to help me find some closer. So what do you think?
Summary: locations of seized car auctions in So Cal.

I have attended a few auctions in Orange Co., and the prices were very little better than what you would find in auto trader.

They add a lot of fees to the price, so there aren’t many real good deals, except on cars that are known crap.

Don’t believe the ads that say you can get a real fine car for $ 500. it’s B.S.

Question by LUNARCHILD: How do I obtain a car-auction license in Texas?
I want to start my own business in South Texas buying repossessed and auctioned cars; I am aware that I need a dealer’s license to get the autos cheaper. Does anybody know where should I start? I looked up online but the sites are not helping me.

THANKS !!! ;)

I won a car auction on eBay, what happens if I back out?

February 26th, 2012 John 3 comments

Question by Lund Saab: I won a car auction on eBay, what happens if I back out?
I won an auction for a car on eBay, I actually made an offer and the guy accepted. I have since realized that I shouldn’t have made such an offer. Are there any legal or monetary ramifications for me if I back out of the transaction other than getting negative feedback?

Best answer:

Answer by whata waste
could be. but if you tell the guy you want your offer canceled he could do it or he could go after you for the fees of the auction. read the fine print from the ad.
